This quilt is the first in my “Dear Ones” series. Each of the quilts in this series is named for someone very dear to me. Bet you guessed that part. Elaine Howard has been a dear friend for many years and is the person who encouraged me the most to go into business as a quilt designer. Although she is not a quilter herself, she has a great appreciation of quilts, (and a particular love for roses). My husband and I are blessed to have such wonderful friends like Elaine and her husband Tom.
