Pastels are normally not the colors I gravitate to. I have come to a true appreciation of them largely due to my grandmother’s love for pastel quilts. This quilt makes me think of my grandmother. Although she did not do much appliqué, she’s been an avid quilter her entire life, completing each quilt entirely by hand. Pastel colors were always her favorite.
